Tour Stops – Hollow Readers and For Whom The Books Toll

Good morning, all!  It’s in the -30s (with the windchill) here, and…I NEED A TROPICAL HOLIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!  I’m very cold and very tired as I type this, and as much as I love my country (and I do, I really, really do), winter can go suck rocks.

Now, what DOESN’T suck rocks are my two tour stops today.

Good morning, everyone!

My number #2 sister is here in town this week, visiting our brother who is finally on the road to recovery.  We have hopes he’ll be out of the hospital within the next three weeks.  \o/  Number 1 sister and her daughter are thinking of coming up for the long weekend (February 17th) so another round of visitors.  ;D

In the meantime, I’m starting Day 3 of my new job, and so far so good – LOL.  We’ll see how I feel once people know I’m there and what services I provide.  ;D

I’m very nervous this morning.  I’m STARTING MY NEW JOB TODAY!!!!  It’s been a long, long, lo-o-o-ong time since I’ve started working in a new place and my stomach is churning.  O.o

As for my birthday – there’s a whole story there involving broken furnaces, stoves, plastic lids, alarm systems and firemen…which is funny in retrospect (and even while it was happening) but is also mortifying.  At least I was surrounded by handsome men in uniform for my birthday… o.O

Tour Stop – 365 Days of Reading

Good morning!

It looks like it’s going to be another beautiful winter day out there, with snow in the forecast.  So long as it isn’t -40 (like Winnipeg’s been having O.O), I’m a happy woman!  Today I need to get to the bank (my bank card seems to be demagnetized); stop at my brother’s place to clean out the mailbox and water the plants; go to the hospital to visit him, and when I get home, I need to wash dishes (OMG!!) and do laundry.  I have to go to work on Monday and I’m already wondering what the heck I’m going to wear – LOL.

Good morning, everyone.

I haven’t checked the weather yet today, but hopefully it’s going to be a lovely day wherever you guys are.  In my little world, my brother has been moved to a different hospital (hopefully the last stop before they let him go home – crosses fingers), and I HAVE A JOB!!!  Apparently that interview two weeks ago went better than I thought – LOL.

Good morning, everyone!

It’s going to be a busy day today.  I still have to get my Criminal Records Check finished (long story; short version:  who knew they closed at noon on Fridays???), drop it off, then go visit my brother who’s (still) in the hospital.  Superbugs are no fun.

But blog tours, as I’ve said before, are a lot of fun – and while they’re addictive, I don’t think they’re contagious.  ;D

Good morning, everyone!  Yesterday was a beautiful day here in Edmonton.  The sun was shining, the snow was melting, and it makes me less envious of my sisters, one of whom is currently in Hawaii and the other two are heading to Cuba today.  All right, I’m not on a sandy beach and able to walk outside in shorts and a tank top, but at least it isn’t -40 anymore.  ;D
